How? By bringing the film into their school, workplace or community group through Community Screenings. That’s right, step-by-step a passionate community of committed change-makers created a global movement that reached 200 million people in over 190 countries!

How to Host an Epic Community Screening Event
Once you’ve made the call to host your own EMBRACE KIDS event, the hard part is done. From there, do a little dance, congratulate yourself for being the kind of person who walks the walk, pick a date, enter your details below, then start telling everyone you know about your upcoming event.
We’ll send you a link for a one-time-use download of the EMBRACE KIDS film for your event, and the rest is history! If you need our help or support we’ll be with you every step of the way.

Just make sure you purchase the right license based on the number of people viewing:
- 1-100 people = $499
- 101-250 people = $799
- 251-500 people = $999

We’ve aimed to keep the cost super reasonable so as many people as possible get to see the film. We hope you’ll agree it’s a worthy investment!

EMBRACE KIDS is rated G, with consumer advice of ‘very mild coarse language and references to bullying and discrimination’.
As soon as your payment is processed, you’ll receive an email from us with a unique link to download the EMBRACE KIDS film for your screening event.
These files are not small! If you need to move the file around, our suggestion is to grab yourself a 64GB+ USB that you can use to store and transport the file.

Absolutely!
If you’re planning on ticketing your event we recommend using online ticket sales platform Eventbrite and then connecting it to a Facebook event page – this means people can purchase tickets directly from Facebook, and will make it easy to promote your event through social media. To get started, create an Eventbrite profile and follow the prompts.
Yes!
You can fundraise for your own organisation, or you can really go the extra mile and fundraise in support of The Embrace Hub.
All donations to The Embrace Hub are tax-deductible and go towards making life-changing, research-led body image resources freely available to young people and their leaders, contact us for more information.
If you are planning to fundraise, please make sure you know what your obligations are under Australian Consumer Law, you can read more on that here.

This ensures that our hosts are not in breach of copyright law, and it means the filmmakers, including all of the hardworking crew, get paid fairly for their work and can keep making more life-changing films!
Absolutely. The film is a great conversation starter and we encourage our hosts to start a discussion with their audience afterwards to help bring deeper understanding to the issue of body image in children.

We’ve made our Community Screening licenses available at the most reasonable rate we could so as many people as possible can see it.
While we don’t offer a specific rate for charities and not-for-profits, you’re more than welcome to use the event as a fundraiser to support your good work.
